Summary: Communication from beginning to end was excellent. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the owner, who was friendly and inviting. It’s nice that the owners are close in case we had concerns (which we had zero).The landscape was gorgeous and the house is 5! When you enter the lodge, it is open and inviting. We came as a group of ladies from our Fellowship. The table had enough seating for us to eat our meals together, and the living room had ample room for us to gather together. It was peaceful to be able to sit on the screened in porch and watch the birds and listen to nature; beautiful views! We fixed all our meals in the fully stocked chefs kitchen. Everything is laid out well and there wasn’t such a thing as too many cooks in this kitchen . Rooms are laid out well and comfortable. A close drive into town for hiking/biking trails. If you’re looking for a gathering place with family and friends, this is the place!! It is SO peaceful. Next time, we’ll check out the hot tub. Our ladies group have decided this is “our” place! Lord willing we’ll be back next year!
