This nice and comfortable cottage is ideally located in the middle of the South coast of Iceland, next to to route 1 (the Ring Road), close to all the main tourist attractions in the South.
The cottage is situated on a historical site, the Caves of Hella, where you will find Iceland's oldest still standing archaeological remains. Some believe the man-made Caves of Hella to date even further back than the Settlement of the Nordic Vikings in the 9th century. t's a great location to see the Northern lights / Aurora Borealis if the weather conditions are right.
Just few meters from the cabin you find the only coffee house in Hella, The American Schoolbus Cafe.
The cottage has two bedrooms, master bedroom has Double bed ( 140x200 ) and the other bedroom has two single beds. In the living room we have brand new ( 2024 ) sleeping sofa. Our kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need.
Outside we have new Sauna, very nice to relax there after long day of sight seeing.
We have a baby crib and high chair for your children.
We provide linen, towels and soap etc.
