Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay at Esben's house! It is situated with the most amazing westerly views and the large windows on the 2nd floor allowed for unobstructed views of the Northern Lights! The hot tub was perfectly sheltered from the wind (which was a blessing) and the Sauna was such a nice treat! Unfortunately, we were unable to use the outdoor shower (couldn't figure out how to turn it on) or the BBQ (the flame kept blowing out due to the high wind!), but those were the only things that were an issue. There were ample sleeping options with plenty of bedding and towels. The kitchen was well appointed and the main living area on the 2nd floor is such a nice open space with tons of large windows. Privacy was excellent and the views were amazing! It was an easy access to lots of nearby areas of interest - Vik, Gulfoss, Selfoss, etc. - did plenty of day trips without having to travel too far. Thank you for having us at your home!
