Come and stay at an exquisite Gascon Château overlooking the unspoilt Vallée de l’Osse. The ancient Château is of medieval origin, remodelled in the Renaissance. It has superb terraced gardens, and is a haven of peace and beauty. Despite being on the edge of the village, the Château is surrounded by its own land and is very private and quiet.
The Château and its outbuildings are considered to be one of the most admired historical properties in the region. You can stroll through the Italianate gardens in the evening and admire the sweeping panorama which is reminiscent of Tuscany.
The Montpezat Suite is on the principal floor and is accessed via an impressive 500-year old stone staircase. It has high beamed ceilings, splendid medieval fireplaces and wonderful views over the formal gardens and the surrounding countryside. It has a charming sitting room with a sofa bed, and a large double bedroom with an en-suite shower room.
For parties of more than 4 guests, or upon request, the Montpezat Suite can also be adjoined the tower bedroom. Built as a stone octogon with a rare medieval fireplace, the tower bedroom is a very atmospheric room in the C13th tower.
