Experience one of the most spectacular lakefront properties on Douglas Lake, which is wonderfully located on the main channel with over 900' of shoreline, year-round water, and beautiful views of the lake from all sides of the massive home. This exclusive, luxury waterfront property is on a 4-acre peninsula with no close neighbors. You get it all with multiple million-dollar views of both Douglas Lake and the Smoky Mountains. The first floor is 10 ft ceilings with a step down to a massive living room with 20 ft ceilings, two walls of soaring windows that showcase the lake view, an 85"x 43" TV (Theatre Room Quality), top-quality furniture, and a top-quality dining room table that very comfortably seats 12 people. The kitchen is enormous with multiple islands, 2 sinks, 2 top-quality refrigerators/freezers, a large butler pantry--all the cabinet and counter space you could ever need. The kitchen is also fully-stocked with not only the basics but also high-end countertop appliances (including a Vitamixer, digital toaster, InstaPot, Crock-Pot, Keurig and Cuisinart coffeemakers, coffee grinder and milk frother) as well as spices, seasonings, oils, non-stick spray, aluminum foil and other staples. Right off the kitchen is a round breakfast room table that seats up to 6 with a panoramic view of the lake. Each of the 3 bedrooms upstairs has its own private access bathroom and large tile shower. Each bedroom also has its own TV that is either a smart TV or has a Roku Receiver. Every room in the home has wood flooring or tile.
Please Note: The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) drains the lake down from September to early April, such that the water level drops and other sections of the lake that are not on the main channel have no water. THE OVERLOOK ON DOUGLAS LAKE IS RIGHT ON THE MAIN CHANNEL, HOWEVER, SO IT HAS A SPECTACULAR WATER VIEW AND WATER ACCES ALL YEAR-ROUND.
Guests have full access to the following:
• 3,200 square feet (sf) of the 4,254 sf finished home, which includes all the areas shown in the pictures--most of the first floor, the entire second floor and all porches, decks, patios and outside areas. There are 3 bedroom suites with full private baths on the 2nd floor and a half bath on the 1st floor.
• Detached finished garage with a game room downstairs and additional sleeping space upstairs.
• Upper uncovered deck and lower covered deck/patio, each approximately 1400 s.f.
• Fire pit located down the stairs from the rear deck, right on the lake and on the peninsula point.
• Year-round floating dock which can be used for fishing and boating the entire year.
Not all areas of the property are safe for children due to steep drop-offs and proximity to deep water. Children must always be supervised by you.
Amenities include: 7 seat hot tub on the exterior lower deck, and full-size 34'x24' game room with pool table, ping pong table, a professional games/card table, 75-inch TV with Nintendo Switch 2 and games. snack bar, sink, mini refrigerator.
The home is equipped with 500Mbps high-speed fiber optic internet and a 24kw Generac backup generator.
We sleep 9 guests in beds in the main house and have 2 queen-size air mattresses for extra sleeping room in a finished top floor of the detached garage.
This is a great place for getaways, family vacations, family birthdays, family reunions, sports teams, church groups, church or business retreats, business meetings, and filming movies.
Up to 2 small dogs (not puppies) are allowed, with each having a maximum weight of 20 lbs. There will be an additional charge of $200 per dog per stay. Dogs must be house trained, taken out to potty every 4 hours, and always supervised by you. Pet waste left outside must be picked up using the plastic bags provided in the pantry and placed in an exterior trash can, with the plastic bag securely tied. On-site pet-sitting services may be available for you if arranged in advance through the host. Typical fee is $35 per pet for up to 12 hours.
Very close to all the attractions in the Smoky Mountain area so you have an easy drive to great places such as Dollywood (19 miles), The Island in Pigeon Forge (21 miles), Gatlinburg (28 miles) and Great Smoky Mountains National Park (25 miles). You get close access to shops, grocery stores, and restaurants in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Townsend, Wears Valley and the Smoky Mountains, but can also relax away from all the traffic on a secluded, large 4-acre peninsula. You get the best of both worlds! We are also only a 45-minute drive from Knoxville and a one-hour drive from the McGhee Tyson Airport.
Please note: The guest who books the cabin is required to sign a renter's agreement through an external link which will be sent to you automatically after booking. The guest who books the cabin is also required to pre-approve a $500 damage protection deposit that is 100% fully refunded 7 days after check-out if no damages are incurred and if the guest follows house rules to not disturb the neighbors. The security deposit is not charged to your card until after your stay, and it is only charged if there is damage or if a house rule was broken.
A separate apartment with a separate entrance, not shown in pictures, may be occupied by the host when they are in town. Other than the driveway, THERE ARE NO SPACES INSIDE OR OUTSIDE THE HOME THAT YOU WILL SHARE.
