Positive: This place blew me away! I was expecting something good given the raving previous reviews, but it exceeded my expectations. If you want to stay in Ubud and want to experience it from an authentic, local, but then also comfortable, strategic perspective, this is it. The room(s) are part of a traditional Balinese compound, so it doesn’t get more beautiful and true to Bali than this. The family is very kind, helpful and might involve you in certain local ceremonies, too. The location is very great, quiet but an easy 10 minutes away by scooter to the heart of the city, and the rooms are new, kept clean during your stay and are tastefully designed, too.
