Positive: The rooms are an excellent value for price. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were quick, accurate and helpful in handling billing. For a hotel of this type the gardens are lovely. There is lots of place to walk, and the pools are all clean.

Negative: Service for breakfast was not good. If one sits in the garden, it is understandable that it takes time to prepare meals and relay food from the restaurant inside. But that is not an excuse for failing to deliver coffee for twenty minutes until a meal is served. Because of that distance factor, I suggest they make the coffee pot twice as large as it is. Also, the multiple staff at the bar in the garden tend to ignore customer service for customers who are not right under their nose. One has to work to get their attention. If the rooms are an excellent value for money, as one often finds in two-thirds world capitals, the restaurant is a profit center. But then there is a large team whose salaries need to be covered in the restaurant.

Summary: Clean, quiet, comfortable rooms for a good night’s sleep.
