A “stone’s throw” from the shoreline, this home sits less than 100 feet from the water’s edge at the mouth of a wide cove with deep water and main channel access. A private, two-story double slip dock is just steps away down a gently-sloping, grassed lot and is well-equipped for your stay on the water with plenty of options for lovers of sun and shade. There are both dining and bistro tables, swivel rockers, lounge chairs, and umbrellas, and at the end of the day, make sure you take a leisurely stroll through the 2 acres of Corp-owned property adjacent to our lot and celebrate the sunset!

Extensive stonework highlights the home’s exterior -- accenting a patio, fire pit and summer kitchen -- while the home’s tongue and groove wood interior plays up to an artful blend of vintage and new. Rustic lighting, rich wood and fabric accents, natural fiber rugs, and bamboo occasional pieces have been tastefully blended with new inspiration to create the signature "Hemingway" style. Original brick floors ... vaulted, suspended beam ceiling ... brick fireplace and louvered windows maintain the charm of this quintessential lakeside cottage while granite counter tops, stainless kitchen appliances and new hardwood floors in the bedrooms add a modern flair.
You’ll fall in love with the open floor plan and simple living of this single-story cottage. It's a layout that allows you to really enjoy the company of those you call "family". The kitchen, family room and dining room all open onto a spacious 10’ x 30’ screen porch complete with dining table and additional casual seating. The kitchen is fully-equipped, even for the most discerning of chefs, and meals can be served informally at the eat-in island with seating for 5, at the dining table with seating for 6, or alfresco on the porch. There are two beautifully appointed bedrooms – a king master with half bath and flat screen Smart TV and a second bedroom sleeping four in a twin over full bunk and separate twin bed. Indoor amenities include central A/C and heat, wood-burning fireplace, ceiling fans, AT&T U-verse, WiFi, 50" flat-screen Smart TV, DVD player, and stainless dishwasher, stove and refrigerator.
