Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The house was a great size for three families with children to holiday together. The pool was really clean and well looked after. There was a huge outdoor space for the children to play, with a volleyball/badminton court which was really fun. It was wonderful to have the bbq available to use as well. The house was well equipped with all the cutlery and crockery you would need, as well as a a high chair and cot for young children which was very helpful. The house was beautiful, the location was very pretty, and the hosts were generous in their time to help us with our questions about the local area, including suggesting some beautiful running routes through the surrounding countryside.

Negative: We were a bit confused on arrival as the description of the property was a private pool. We understood the pool would be private to ourselves, but it was actually private to the 3 properties there, so we had to share. The other guests were very friendly and we were able to have a great time regardless but it wasn't what we had expected. Similarly the other properties could make use of the volleyball court which is directly outside the back terrace, so that was also a bit surprising as we thought it was for our access alone and did feel a bit close to us.

Summary: Lovely location, friendly helpful hosts, good for a group holiday
