Our house is located in a quiet residential street in Akranes. Akranes is only 38 min / 43km drive from Reykjavik, many people that live in Akranes work in Reykjavik. From the house you can do day trips and explore The Golden Circle, Snæfellsnes, Húsafell and more. Down the road from our house you can find super markets, restaurants and shops. Our house has very nice ocean view and walking path along the ocean that takes you into town. We have very nice public swimming pool in Akranes. It's a great location to see the Northern Lights / Aurora Borealis if the weather condition is right.
Our house has 3 bedrooms, the Master Bedroom has King Size bed ( electric bed ) , second bedroom has double bed ( 140x200 cm ) and Bunk Bed that has Double bed ( 140x200 cm ) in lower level and single bed ( 90x200 cm ) in upper level. Third bedroom has single bed ( 90x200 cm ). Our kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need. In the TV room we have 65" TV + Apple TV with all the streaming service you need, Netflix etc. From the living room you can enter spacious balcony where we have BBQ grill and you can enjoy the spectacular sea view, and it the weather is good you can see all the way to Reykjavik.
We have baby crib and high chair for your children.
We provide linen, towels and soap etc.
We manage over 100 properties here in Iceland, most of them in Reykjavik area and also few outside of Reykjavik. Please let us know if you would like to split your stay, some nights in Reykjavik and some outside of Reykjavik. We also offer long term renting.
