Negative: In general, a very good hotel, with average to good rooms and good service from the staff. However, I experienced a problem with the hot water in the bathroom. As it was our first time visiting Paris and the hotel was a bit far from the city center (about one hour by public transport), we would leave early in the morning and, naturally, return late at night just to sleep. The weather was cold and it was raining almost every day, so we often returned to the room soaked and freezing. One night, when we came back very cold, we wanted to take a hot shower. There were four people staying in the room, and to our surprise, there was not enough hot water for everyone. As a result, two people had to shower with very cold water, which was extremely unpleasant during winter. The staff informed us that there was not enough hot water for all of us at the same time and that two people should shower first, while the others would have to wait a long time for the water to heat up again. However, given how tired we were, this was not feasible. They also told us that “this is how it is in France.” To accommodate us, they gave us the key card to another room, assuming this would solve the issue, but it was still not ideal to walk around the hotel late at night just to take a shower. Unfortunately, this was not a positive experience, especially since in Greece we always have hot water available at all times and can truly enjoy taking a shower.
